96 air conditioner

I replaced my compressor and the switch still stays on econ instead of auto and the compressor wont come on, I hot wired it and it works but not automatically. Anyone can help me please

I got this resolved. You must disconnect the negative post of your battery to reset the computer then recharge your air conditioner and the compressor will work
