Help on buying 91 z24 cavalierwhizzit 06-28-2004, 02:18 AM I tried searching but couldn't really turn up anything what I needed. Anyways my gramps just picked up a '91 cavalier with 230k kilometers on it (pretty sure its the z24, i know nothing about cavaliers). I have a 91 civic, but it burns oil and has some other problems with it, but it runs. I'm thinking on trading him, but I just want to know a few things about 91 cavaliers. From what he told me, plus I drove it, theres nothing really wrong with it. Are there any things I should look out for? The reason I want the cavalier over the civic is, well its got more horsepower I'm guessing, something different to drive for a while, and it doesn't burn oil. The only cons I can see is that the interior is kinda shabby (nothing seat covers and floor mats can't help) and shifting gears is kinda silly. It wasn't exactly as smooth as the civic, it felt like a worn out toy car. Well if you have any other tips they would be really helpfull, thanks a lot. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
