Can someone please tell me why it seems my chevy venture seems to burn the motor oil. I don't know where it's going. She is not leaking oil, and it's not blowing out the exhaust, where is it going?????!!!!!!! and why??? I have to add a quart almost every 2 weeks.

Did you check the coolant? My be mixing with coolant???? I have a Venture 2000 as well but does not burn oil at all, something is wrong with yours. Make sure you check everything before it gets worse.

Not to sound condescending, but have you checked the drain plug on the oil pan. It wouldn't be the first time one has vibrated loose. The leak from a loose plug could be so small that you may not catch it without close examination

I don't know. Mine seems to use a quart between oil changes. No visible leaks, nothing in the coolant.

You might try putting a clean white towell over the exhaust for a few minutes while it's idling, then let the towel dry out. If it gets oily (not just wet) then oil is pumping out the exhaust. Compare with another vehicle that you know is not using oil and see if you can spot a difference.

the engine is clean top, side ,bottom, oil filter,,,tranny isn't taking any extra oil. can you rub the inside of the exhaust and not get anything on your fingers. whats the distance you travel before adding?you have no bubbles in your oil?

If your Venture has the 3.4, you more than likely have an intake gasket leak. This is a common problem with the 3.4 and will cause oil loss withno sign of leaking.
