I know how to clear the codes on my old 93 sc, with a paper clip. Does the same procedure work on a 2000 sc???

to clear or pull? on the 93 with OBD1 pull the fuse to clear, use the paper clip to pull the codes. on the 2000, it has a OBD2, so you need a special scan tool to pull the codes, pretty costly little tool(i have seen cheap ones for $100, not one i would buy, better ones cost above $2000) but good news is autozone and a few other places will usilly pull the codes for free. to clear? i not sure if you pull the fuse or use the same tool.

Now that I think about it, you're right. I only pulled the codes with the paper clip. It was quite a while back that I did it. I guess I'll do my intake gasket and try to pull the fuse to clear the codes. Thanks.
