Best Road Music?JD@af 01-13-2001, 02:33 PM So what's peoples favorite music to cruise, speed, etc. to? For just cruising, I like some mellow mixes by David Holmes, Nick Warren, John Digweed, and Carl Cox. For racing and/or speeding, its gotta be the likes of Slipknot, Korn, or Rob Zombie. verboom 02-26-2001, 09:10 PM I'm more of the Vengaboys, dance/techno guy for driving. And people have to feel the music too. Woofers rock, but it sucks when they get too overpowering. The sound has to be nice and clear still. Heep 03-21-2001, 05:10 PM Cruisin': Rap (preferably with instuments, like Everlast) Normal driving: Dance, Vengaboys Speed: Waldo's People - U Drive Me Crazy (a 200 MPH kinda song) carmaster 03-21-2001, 09:00 PM Everlast isn't really rap its more of rock blues. But God smacks Whatever and Awake are good songs so is Get your roll on, by big tymers. Heep 03-22-2001, 08:35 PM Well, Ends and What It's Like are bluesy, but most of the rest of Whitey Ford Sings the Blues is rapish. I like DRE too. Racer 20 04-11-2001, 03:17 AM Korn's Got the Life or Slipknots's Wait and Bleed, or Incubus' Pardon Me----in the Skyline GTR off corse :D JD@af 04-11-2001, 07:50 PM Originally posted by Racer 20 Korn's Got the Life or Slipknots's Wait and Bleed, or Incubus' Pardon Me----in the Skyline GTR off corse :D YES!!! bellaracing 05-06-2001, 10:39 PM I love the song smoke weed by asian rap primera man 05-06-2001, 10:51 PM Cruise to ...George Thorogood/blues/rock. Drive to dance/techno enzo@af 05-06-2001, 11:28 PM Rap (Jay-Z, The Chronic, Snoop......) is good for driving irresponsibly to, but I like listening to Country when just cruising. Bean Bandit 05-07-2001, 08:25 AM For fast Autobahn crusing there's nothing better than some good old classic (like Ravel and co.):bandit: bellaracing 05-07-2001, 08:21 PM this is bad and I am really embarassed to say it but Kenny Rogers pounds with my stereo. If anybody asks me I will DENY, DENY, DENY blatch 05-08-2001, 09:14 PM bla, i like rap for cruzin'. but linkin park is good for fastness.. cynic project is good no matter what. primera man 05-10-2001, 09:13 AM Paul Oakenfold...got it today...good for cruising:D i_rebel 05-14-2001, 03:05 PM Nothing beats dance hall reggae for a good adrenaline induced driving frenzy . . . However, you all should try this: DRUM & BASS for those extremely spirited occasions--especially for amateur practice rallying or mountain road climbing. I can't seem to find a more fitting background music. I first got the idea from a japanese rally race video, and its been stuck with me since. olds88 08-15-2001, 08:45 PM hmmm driving. what ever is on the radio crusing. some mello clasic rock (queen tom petty ect) speeding or racing. any heavy rock from 1975 to 1988 Darkwing 08-22-2001, 07:24 PM naw man, for cruisin rap is alright, but satriani is the best for speedin! classic rock is also good for cruisin. Morpheus XIII 08-24-2001, 11:27 PM If it's Joe Satriani you are referring to, then all I can say is HELL yeah. Jay! 08-25-2001, 12:18 AM Try the score from Fight Club by the Dust Brothers. Top notch. kris 08-27-2001, 04:52 PM Well, this may sound odd. For some reason or another recieved two full CD's of classical music. For some reason, when I am on long drives, i tend to pop that in. But for everyday driving around town, I listen to whatever is on the radio. Which happens to be like, KoRn, Limp, Rage, Deftones, Linkin Park, etc. Rich 09-13-2001, 10:04 AM For just a nice cruse, I like to go with rap, otherwise im a techno man myself. I find that it depends alot on the mood tho:bandit: Darkwing 09-13-2001, 10:13 PM Originally posted by Morpheus XIII If it's Joe Satriani you are referring to, then all I can say is HELL yeah. yep that's the guy!:D :smoker: Dustin_S 09-29-2001, 10:22 PM I have a relatively good sound system, but when I go out it depends on where I'm going. If I'm looking to get noticed, I usually pop in a Single that Everyone will recognize and pump it up, but A lot of times I listen to Trance/Dance/House/Hip hop. Occasionally, I use a Program like Fruity Loops to Write/Burn My own Trance CD. That's always fun. :) Murray 10-03-2001, 03:37 AM Here's how it works for me: driving: punk crusing: more punk speeding or racing: more fucking PUNK!!!!!! by the way, I love punk rock! :ylsuper dorifkin 12-17-2001, 06:17 PM Gotta go with BT, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk.
