american version of cefiro or chaser?gigglesnirt 06-25-2004, 01:42 AM i dont know if this is a stupid question but do we get a version of either the cefiro or chaser that is another company like lexus or infiniti, because i swear i've seen some cars that just reminded me of them but i dont know. TankMMC 06-25-2004, 07:33 AM Not to my knowledge. The second Gen cefiro (VQ-powered FWD) is the same thing as the maxima, but the CA31 didnt have an american version. 1viadrft 06-25-2004, 12:15 PM Tank is right... The Maxima is the closest thing we get! gigglesnirt 06-25-2004, 07:56 PM dam, because the other day i saw a maxima that just looked kinda like tyhe back end of a cefiro i've seen before, and i wondered if the maximas were ever made in rwd VQuick 06-26-2004, 08:15 AM There was a rwd Maxima. The 1st generation, from 81-84. It's so old that it was also referred to as the Datsun 810. The car was basically a four-door Z. gigglesnirt 06-26-2004, 01:23 PM i'll look it up but probably going to be hard to find gigglesnirt 06-26-2004, 01:27 PM /\only one i found on ebay was the pimp my ride car/\ Suislide 06-28-2004, 03:38 AM FWD A32 Cefiro came to us as the Maxima and Infiniti I30/I35. we do not have an A31 Cefiro (our "A31" Maxima was FWD even though it looked a bit like the Cefiro) or Chaser counterpart on our shores sadly (JZX100 is an insanely beautiful car), but the earliest A31 Cefiro's are now eligible for legal import into Canada under the 15-year law. :iceslolan ALLiNEEDis90HP 07-05-2004, 04:02 PM toyota Cressida Howielong 07-08-2004, 08:08 PM There was a rwd Maxima. I forget were though. Nice little car. Drfthis 07-10-2004, 08:00 PM the toyota Cressida, it had the 1st and 2nd gen supra motor woot, but all the after market died for it, there were koin reds availible for it but they stoped producing them. and I think we only got auto's with them. Suislide 07-10-2004, 10:36 PM we got 5-speed but it's rare as fuck. some guy on Club4AG had one. alot of Supra parts will fit Cressida's, and some people do make parts for them as they're fairly popular in Japan. a 7MGTE will slide in nicely. i saw someone who put a 7MGTE in his, took out the front grille and put the FMIC in it's place. looked SO badass. i want a silver Cressida wagon with 1JZGTE, FMIC in the grille, with black fender flares, black fender mirrors, a black lip spoiler on the back of the roof, and black 15 inch watanabe's. *drool* Drfthis 07-11-2004, 12:12 AM dood man I know, some old lady at the DMV here has a cressida wagon with rally rims on it and I would so drop it and put a killer system in it and make it a drift speical wagon. wouldn't the supraz trany work in therory then. JDMBluebirdDorifto 08-07-2004, 12:57 AM Talk of Cefiro's makes me sad.. Now that I've been shipped back to the US (time off, then to Iraq), I've had to put my Cefiro (CA31) into storage on the base (Okinawa). I hate import laws. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
