P10 STBJustinP10 05-16-2001, 01:10 AM I'm curious if anyone has found an alternative to the Stillen STB. I'm trying to save up enough for the stillen one, but would much rather find a cheaper alternative. Custom make one and borrow someone's TIG welder? Also I've seen pictures of a rear bar for a Primera, but havn't ben able to find info on the car. Again, does anyone know of a company that makes this bar, even if it's overseas that is fine, cause i could always get it shipped. I'm assuming the rear bar is not very common? My car is plenty stiff right now, it's suprising how well it handles with the Ground Controls, but i figure they can't hurt, except maybe the wallet, the chassis is already stiff as it is, but i'm sure they will still help. Thanks BTW, here is a picture of my car :D bump909 06-03-2001, 09:43 PM hey justin, nice g!! as far as the strut tower bar, i've heard that the stb from courtesy nissan for an altima works. i've only heard this though.. and if it does work, it's a lot cheaper than the stillen bar. i thought GAB makes one too, maybe i'm mistaken. i used to have a corksport strut tower bar on my escort and it helped greatly. stiffens the front end right up and helps point the car where you want it to go right away, very responsive. SkylinesKillAll 06-03-2001, 09:48 PM cusco makes one for our cars. not sure of the price but im sure nopi has it. I've asked a couple local shops about this bar, because I've seen it in the Nopi magazine ads, but no one can ever find a part number or any reference to it in there catalogs. Maybe I'll give Nopi a call. thanks primerAL 06-07-2001, 08:55 PM The Courtesy STB will work and it costs less than $75. They will know what part you need if you ask for the G20 bar. pics of STB can be found here http://www.conecrazy.com/project-g20/engine.html JustinP10 06-07-2001, 09:05 PM Really? Cool, I didn't know Courtesy made a STB for my car... I'll have to see if it'll fit on the lowport motor (damn intake manifold). Ok cool, I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow morning. thanks GtRider 10-05-2001, 02:08 AM vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
