Are Grand Cherokees the best for offroading?

They are not the best but they are close...I think I would rate the Hummer H2 and the Ranger Rover above the jeep

H2 over a ZJ or WJ, you're nuts. The uses IFS while the Jeeps both have solid front axles, not to mention the size diffrence. H2 couldn't fit through half the places we've taken a ZJ. The Rover does have an arguement but the ZJ have a larger and cheaper after market, not to mention the parts it shares with other Jeeps. As for the best wheeler I'd say M-715, little under powered but of the possibilities

I have JGC Laredo and Pajero 2.8TD. If I need to go to desert, I take second (to me much reliable)
