last person that did that around here got the chair

 as far as i know, so long as the kid isnt doing anything wrong (street racing, etc) they just take him home and let the parents deal with it. I havn't heard of charges against a 16 year old kid

i could be wrong tho

Do you have a permit? I'm not sure but I think you get a ticket/fine for driving out of class.

ACD probation and maybe an essay on why it's necessary to have a license or some bullshit.

around here if you do that they wont let you get your license until your 18. otherwise if your lucky you get off with a fine.

sometimes if you just go to court theyll drop some stuff or reduce fines. I have gotten 3 tickets. i had to pay the fines but every time they just dropped the points basically because i showed up to court.

in connecticut- driving without a license is just a fine. driving with a suspended license equals jail time. figure that one out

here in cali- caught driving without a license, no license until your 21st birthday

My friends can't drive till their 18 now.

ACD means Aquittal in Contemplation of Dismissal, which means they drop all charges against you but you are on a probationary period during which, if any other legal infraction occurs you get charged with your new charge the AUO(no license).

well.....i sorta had this happen to me exept i got charged for parephnela, possesion of weed, no licence, no insuance, expired tags, bald tires, truency, and almost driving under the influence. i got sent to DT for 6 months and alot of shit from parents, i had just turned 16 at the time, so i think they went easy on me. by the way my permit was also expired.

In my state, you will loose your license untill your 18 (I think you can apply for a permit then) and if your parents were driving with you, they can get in trouble, and loose their license also, and face tickets, or possible jail time.

Here it's called "court probation".

I'd be willing to bet that you won't be getting your license till at least 18, probably have to pay a fine as well.

Now..... the question remains.... why the hell were you driving a car at 15??? :eek7:
