why does maxima.org suck...BigLou93se 06-20-2004, 09:59 AM Well people, to put it plainly, I'm really frusterated with maxima.org. A couple weeks ago, I started researching maximas in light of being in the process of buying a 93 SE 5 spd. I registered with them a couple weeks ago, as I said, and am still awaiting activation. Now there's a very beneficial group buy going on (nevermind the countless times that I've needed a question answered and haven't been able to ask it) on passport 8500 x50 radar detectors (which I'm in dire need of) and I still can't post. What's going on with this sight? Anyone from maxima.org wanna comment? I'd love to be a member there, but I can't contribute anything. Is there anything I need to do so that they send me the confirmation email (read faq's or something). Notice how I need to post on a different websight to try to get answers about maxima.org...extrememly frusterating. Thanks guys. Louis by the way, if you know anything about modifications in reference to advancing the intake timing on a 3rd gen. max, I started another thread on here, please respond Ahut2000 06-20-2004, 11:08 AM send an email to the admins and they should activate you. That's what i had to do for some other site as i don't think you can get the email resent without speaking to a mod kro$s 06-20-2004, 11:32 AM What you need to do is re-register and when you get the email this time copy and paste the link in another window and it should activate you, if that doesn't work then re-register again (I know, but it's what you have to do) and activate from the website itself, ONE of those will work because I had the same problem as you did when I first got wind of the ORG. THT 06-20-2004, 06:59 PM Could be the domain of your email address is blocked. I know at my350z.com, I couldn't use my Hotmail account. Overclockers.com also doesn't allow Yahoo or Hotmail accounts. I registered with a non-Hotmail account at maxima.org. ~THT BigLou93se 06-21-2004, 08:11 AM thanks for the responses everyone. I'm pretty sure that you can't use the same email for re-registering. I will send them an email. Thanks kro$s 06-21-2004, 02:00 PM No, No, No! Noone is going to respond to you kid, go and get another email address and follow the instructions given to you. Because it's not going to work otherwise. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
