Hi all, as I stated in my into thread, I am looking for a new car, but at the moment this is what I have. I've been searching all of the sites I can find to learn whatever I can about cars.

My Pontiac has over 150,000 miles on it, and it's age seems to be catching up to it. It's an automatic, but when the gears shift if feels like I've just shifted gears in a standard? I don't know why. My mechanic hasn't done anything about it.

In my search I have found that Napa has a new oil filter that keeps the oil 60% cleaner, Nascar Select with Spin Flow http://www.napafilters.com/nselect/ (Napa) . Do you experts think this would help my poor old car? I still need it to work for a while, at least until I save enough for the family car I really want.

OT
(I also found this http://winningspinsweepstakes.com/ (Nascar sweepstakes page) , for those of us who like to try to win great stuff! )

Hmmm, I wonder why not? They worked when I copied and pasted them...I'll try again.
