91 Grand Prix Troubles

I have a 91 Grand Prix LE (4 door) and today I took it out for no more than 10 minutes. I noticed at just below 55 the car begins to shake awful but if I let off just a little bit the shaking stops. I also noticed that it seems to want to bounce all over the place after hitting the slightest bump or dip in the roadway. Any ideas as to what could be causing both problems? Last week the car was fine with no such troubles. Rode like a dream but today it's terrible.

shaking from bad tires/balance.Check tires for broken belts/bulge. Bouncing all over sounds like bad struts to me!!
