Metro pause wiper and cruise control?

I have a 98 Chevy Metro. There are two things I would kind of like to have on it. Pause wiper: Anyone ever used the add on kits? Do they work? Also Cruise control: Can buy aftermarket for about $100. Do these work? Is the electronic control module already in the car and if so where is it located? Either of these things practical and worth the bother?

Cruise control is nice. I wouldn't bother unless your car is the 4cylinder model though. The 3cyl doesn't generate enough vacuum to power the cruise control at over 60mph. I've never seen the wiper addon unit, sounds like a waste though. The ECM for the car is by the fuse box, where your feet are. It's directly above the fuse block though.

i have a 95 3 cylinder and it has both cruise and int. wipers. they are both aftermarket add-ons. they where on the car when i bought it so im not sure who installed it but the cruise works very well. i thought the same thing that Geozukigti did that the engine wouldn't have the power to work well at high speeds. ie. wide open throttle all the time which means little vacuum. but it does work very well it holds its speed right where you put it. this car is a 5 speed it might not work well with an automatic.

Thanks. I think that I will give it a try. The only place that I have found these items is at JC Whitney. I have not been able to find them locally. The JCW catalog shows an additional vacume tank to be used on a <4 cylinder. The car is a 3 cyl 5 speed.
