HVAC controls

hello all, just purchased a 99 Montana with 77K on the OD. Got a 5yr/100K power train warranty through the dealer aftermarket too, hope this keeps me safe from tranny issues later on. So anyways, my questions is this:
We drove a venture and almost bought it, but it was sold before we could get financing. Now we've got the Montana, but I really liked the HVAC controls in the venture better. Since they're basically the same van, can the units be swapped out if I find one someplace? Also, can the stereo be swapped as well for the chevy and if so, will the steering wheel controls still work?

Thanks for the help, lotsa good info on this site!

I recently purchased a stock am/fm/cd/eq (off ebay for a $100) for my mother's 99 Montana that had an aftermarket radio in it and the controls worked right away as soon as I plugged it in. I think as long as the plug is the same in the back you will be ok. It only has the one main plug and the antenna plug, so just make sure they have the same configuration by looking at it. Only problem with a chevy radio is the backlight will be blue and not match the orange lighting in your 99 Montana.

As far as the HVAC controls, what are those?

Hope this was a little helpful.
