How do you clean the throttle body on a 98 4Runner, and what are the benefits? I'm not familiar with the part, however, is it the part near the intake hose and plenum that looks like it has cables(sort of like bike brake cables) attached to it? What do I clean it with? I have a V6. Thanks.

Not much different than this:

A variation on this is to park sideways on a hill when doing this so that the excess cleaner and scum run out of the throttle body instead of into the intake.
