2001 Venture "after braking" sounds

Hi there!

I'm new to the forum and I have a puzzling questions regarding the 2001 Venture. I recently traded off my Impala on a 2001 Venture since my family is increasing in size. I really like the van except the braking system!

I have the traction control option and I'm not sure if it is causing the problem or not. The problem is, when I'm at a stop light and have the brakes lightly pressed, after a minute or two a weird grinding or vibrating sound starts and usually persists until I ease off on the brakes. This doesn't happen all of the time but it happens enough to warrant concern!

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do about it?

If all your pads are good I wouldn't worry about it, mine has made this sound you are describing since the day I bought it. I have taken it to the dealer several times and everytime they say it is normal noise and everything is fine.
