How do I get the steering wheel off an 88 caravan. I took off the cover and the nut in the center under that but it still won't budge.
thanks

That is because they made it that way. You need a special tool that bolts into the two holes on the sides and then you turn the screw and it will pull it off. I would be suprised if you were able to pull it off with your bare hands.

Put both hands at oposite sides on the stering wheel put your right foot on the dashbord and pull.
If that doesn't work try an axe.

Definetely NOT the axe!!! Maybe a small gear puller. Or if that don't work..Try opening the rear hatch and using a "come-a-long"!!!:bricks1: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

Heck, everyones right except, you'll need both hands on each side of the steering wheel , a pair of hiking boots with spikes and both feet on the dash for leverage. After attempting that, you won,t need a axe or a come-a-long. Okay, jokes aside, get a steering puller. Better to buy one than renting for the cost is about the same. Better still borrow one.
