Holla if you're a Team McLaren fan--Mika H. & David C. Fan!!VR6ERS 05-14-2001, 03:02 PM I think it's because our team has the best power plant in the world for our cars namely "Mercedes-Benz", and with the worlds best drivers "Mika Hakkinen" and "David Coulthard" behind the wheels of our F1 road beast I feel sorry for the rest of the F1 drivers. this is I have to say to team Ferrari, I:monkeypis on you and to Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello your going to get :badass: and blow away if you try to test Team McLaren on the race course!!!!!!!:flipa:. Chris 06-11-2001, 10:44 AM My favorite driver is Coulthard. His engine blew up at Montreal on Sunday, but he was losing .5 seconds a lap, so that sucks. Williams has the best powerplant, but I dont care. GO COULTHARD:D hakka 07-19-2001, 01:42 PM Anyone see the British GP?? Hakkinen (my favorite driver) won!! Awesome. Hopefully he will be having better luck from now on :) Seb928S@af 07-20-2001, 12:28 AM Originally posted by hakka Anyone see the British GP?? Hakkinen (my favorite driver) won!! Awesome. Hopefully he will be having better luck from now on :) He won by more then 30 seconds so guy in a ferrari came in second lol. Go Team Mclaren. BTW Hakkinen isn't having a good season so far but oh well he still the best. :) hermunn123 07-20-2001, 02:44 PM BMW-Williams is the best!!!! they have the best powerplant already mentioned by Chris. Mika Hakkinen is a stud though. he drove the F1 up to 220 mph. hakka 07-20-2001, 09:10 PM You're right about the bad season...out of his previous ten races he failed to leave the starting grid six times (i think). He's long past due for a win. Seb928S@af 07-21-2001, 02:44 AM Well it is all going to come back to him this is only a short-term bad luck he will do a lot better next season I know that. :) Oh well btw the BMW are not really that great F1 cars they still have not worked out all the bugs out of it but they will sooner or later and then they will be in the top 2 best teams right now they are like in the top 3 hehe. Mclaren F1 09-18-2001, 11:32 PM Team McLaren forever! Mika is my fav F1 driver and i am sad he is going on a 1 year vacation.....:( i hope his replacement FORGET THE NAME does well for the team ales 09-19-2001, 02:44 AM Screw you guys! :lol2: We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting - till the end - We are the champions - We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions - of the world Weeeee!:finger: :finger: :finger: peace :bandit: primera man 09-19-2001, 05:29 AM Is it true tht MH is stepping down for a season ??? Morpheus XIII 09-19-2001, 05:55 AM Hakkinen could very well take a break with personal issues at hand. It has already begun to show in his performance, and even their team has begun to shine the spotlight on Coulthard. But that's not to say that Hakkinen won't reclaim the throne once more; it's all a matter of time. Team McLaren Mercedes should not be underestimated Ferrari! My life was complete when I was able to see Coulthard's F1 resting on a pedestal at a recent LA auto show. RCer 09-19-2001, 08:23 AM Originally posted by primera man Is it true tht MH is stepping down for a season ??? Yes he is taking a year long sabbatical. I personally think he should not be back, he is an excellent driver, but, Mclaren will be the 3er team next year, and who nows after that. He recently tested in the DTM series, for mercedes of course, and the times were right there since the first moment. I think he should go to that series and stay there. Remember Renault? They had shown what they can do, and they will. Ferrari is Ferrari, and will be ferrari as long as Michael is there, so until 2004, they will be there. Williams is showing the most potential now, with 2 youngs and fast drivers. Chris 09-19-2001, 03:52 PM BMW-Williams works best on a very fast track (like Monza, where Montoya one, no doubt aided by his high-speed experience from CART) I hope McLaren can get back on the ball, I want DC to win a World Championship!! hakka 09-19-2001, 04:46 PM actually, Shumie might not win. Ecclestone and Mosley threatened him...if he doesn't race in the US, the might take his championship from him:( Chris 09-20-2001, 12:04 PM Hmmmm... Thats a tough call.He won there last year, so it shouldnt be a problem. He has the championship already, so why cant he take a break??? They dont have the right to dictate what he can and cannot do. That is just wrong. What if his favorite aunt died, and he wanted to be at the funeral on a sunday, would they make him race then??? They cant take away the championship. PS I have heard rumours that if Hakkinen leaves, Alesi (I think) will be the replacement. ales 09-20-2001, 12:56 PM Originally posted by Chris PS I have heard rumours that if Hakkinen leaves, Alesi (I think) will be the replacement. The McLaren lineup for the 2002 seaseon is David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen primera man 09-20-2001, 01:24 PM Originally posted by ales Kimi Raikkonen   ...wheres he from ???? Chris 09-20-2001, 03:24 PM Thats the one!! I couldnt remember if it was Raikkonen or Alesi. RCer 09-20-2001, 05:00 PM Originally posted by Chris I want DC to win a World Championship!! My advise: put your heart to that, but don't put any money on that. It won't happen. RCer 09-20-2001, 05:01 PM Originally posted by primera man   ...wheres he from ???? Same as Mika, Finn. Chris 09-20-2001, 06:40 PM Originally posted by Chris I want DC to win a World Championship!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My advise: put your heart to that, but don't put any money on that. It won't happen. It could happen, he is good enough. Remember when his private jet crashed from 30000ft, and he walked away?? Then he won his race the next weekend??? Have faith:) hakka 09-20-2001, 07:25 PM They'd probably tell him to reschedule the funeral;) :( Chris 09-20-2001, 09:49 PM Yeah, just dip that dead-ass aunt in some formaldhyde (sp), that should do it:D 92 Teg-B18A 12-12-2001, 10:54 PM props to Mclaren all the way! Next year is DC's year totally! Can't wait to see how the new engine is gonna perform! NSX 12-13-2001, 09:05 AM i think raikonen will do better than DC hakka 12-13-2001, 04:24 PM they will probably be about even, IMO. maybe raikkonen will be a little better, sort of like the JPM and Ralf situation: evryone will know raikkanen is just a bit better, but no one will come out and say it NSX 12-19-2001, 03:17 PM raikonnen is still young, he has potential...he'll take risks DC will play it safe, IMO, i think DCs reached his max performance ales 12-19-2001, 03:22 PM I really hope Raikkonen show his tail to DC> That will shut him up! What will he be whining about then? ;) I really like Kimi, and I also respect Hakkinen a lot. He's a good driver, and a good sportsman. DC is not. hakka 12-19-2001, 04:22 PM I'd really like to see an all Finn team in '03...Mclaren might have a chance at the championship again:D NSX 12-20-2001, 08:45 AM yah, Hakkinen's comeback in 2003, alongside with Raikonnen. That would be cool. DC reminds me of Barichello...they both had good cars, but couldn't capitalize vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
