I had the AC flushed and tested for leaks then refilled, but there is no cold air. I have checked the wiring under the hood and discovered that the control relay for the AC clutch is not getting a ground signal, if I apply a ground to the relay coil the AC clutch will engage, and if I do the same to the fan control relays they work as well. These must all be linked somewhere but my Chilton manual is sadly laking in the wiring diagrams. It does not even show any AC at all !!!
Does any one know if the relays for the AC and the cooling fans get their signal from the dash heater/AC switch directly or does it come from the computer, I have probed the push button dash switch but it does not seem to be directly linked to the relays under the hood.
Are the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual any better? Do they show anything regarding AC wiring?
