Suspension optionshondaman-iac 01-22-2002, 01:01 PM Ok to make a long story short i trashed my suspension racing over RR tracks. So far i asked peeps on HS for the new suspension setup and i got KYB struts with Eibach Pro-Kits. Also i have the following 3 options. #1 KYB GR-2 @$70 a piece Eibach PK $235 toatl cost 480+tax (summit racing) #2 Tokiko iluminas + Eibach PK $430+H&S (modacar.com) #3 Koni Reds - $308 Eibach ProKits $180 total cost 490+H&S All of them are in my budget. which is the best from all 3 of them ? Also if you have any suggestions please add them. EliteAccordPH 01-22-2002, 01:49 PM $930 shipped http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/804336Teins.jpg Have you consider Eibach PK with KYB AGX? KYB AGX is around $350 but I've seen it as low as under $300 at www.jcwhitney.com hondaman-iac 01-22-2002, 02:50 PM well i considered that but kyb agx are 120 for the front and 100 for the rear. total= $420. my budget is around $500 ShockJon 01-22-2002, 10:21 PM This is my plan... Fully adjustable KONIs from nopi.com for $98 each and .5" to 3" adjustable springs from summit racing for a whoping $150... I don't know how good the springs are but with the konis it not all that important the konis is where the ride is the spring is more height than any thing... at least in my opinion and about 10 other people that I know!!! It is $50 over your budget but for $50 more ain't a whole lot extra to come up with!!! But its your car and your money... That is how i am going to spend my $550 when I come up with it and of course talk my wife into it!!! ;) hondaman-iac 01-22-2002, 10:26 PM Aren't koni reds fully adjustable ? I think they are. And the springs are in fact coilover sleeves which are crap. i think those ones for 150 are the Matrix GR motorsports SweetAccord 01-22-2002, 10:42 PM Originally posted by EliteAccordPH $930 shipped http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/804336Teins.jpg Why do you keep showing my coilovers off?:o :D :p EliteAccordPH 01-22-2002, 10:46 PM Originally posted by hondaman-iac well i considered that but kyb agx are 120 for the front and 100 for the rear. total= $420. my budget is around $500 KYB AGX is only $350 shipped. Try www.coximport.com or www.groupbuycenter.com $420 is too much to pay. EliteAccordPH 01-22-2002, 10:48 PM Originally posted by ShockJon This is my plan... Its better then a no name coilover. :) EliteAccordPH 01-22-2002, 10:49 PM Originally posted by SweetAccord Why do you keep showing my coilovers off?:o :D :p Cause I like to tease the guys how lucky you are ;) :D drift 01-22-2002, 11:38 PM Originally posted by hondaman-iac Aren't koni reds fully adjustable ? Dahmin8 01-23-2002, 12:20 AM hondaman-iac 01-23-2002, 01:58 AM i don't want an adjustable ride at all. when i said adjustable i was refering to the dampering. i'm looking for a 1"-1.5" drop, so i don't need an alignament or camber kit. and with free shipping can't beat that at all. KYB AGX with Eibach prokit is the way to go. Thanks drift. One more question thou: do the shocks come with the fork for the lower arm too or i'll need to reuse mine ? I'm asking just because i have a feeling that one is bent. 10x again drift. Dahmin8 01-23-2002, 08:04 AM Even with such a slight drop you may still need a camber kit. After you have the installed system you want, you should be able to tell. As for the bent fork...they don't come with any shock system that I know of.:) 94honda 01-23-2002, 12:49 PM Prokit will only drop you 1.2, if i were to use koni yellows on put them on there lowest perch would the prokit drop more then 1.2? Im looking for a drop between the prokit and neuspeed sports, theres nothing. Could i get neuspeed sports and put the koni yellows on the highest perch, would that make me higher then 1.7??? hondaman-iac 01-23-2002, 04:09 PM Originally posted by 94honda Prokit will only drop you 1.2, if i were to use koni yellows on put them on there lowest perch would the prokit drop more then 1.2? Yeah that is the only thing that I am afraid of for that kinda $$$ they must be garbage!!!! But I am going with the yellow konis!!! Probly just going to drop it maybe a 1" or 1.5"... :D nittanys1 01-24-2002, 10:34 PM Instead of the Eibach Pro Kit you can always go with the Eibach Sportline I pick some of them up along with Tokico gas shocks and the ride is the best, way way way better than the cheap a$$ coilovers I picked up for 100.....the Sportline lowers your car around 2 inches vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
