losing the brake pedalcglenn2a 06-08-2004, 05:11 PM This problem is intermittent, and seems to coincide with hotter weather. Whenever the temp is up.......the pedal goes to the floor. I started to notice while sitting at red lights the car would start to creep forward and the brake pedal would slowly go to the floor. If I pump the pedal a few times it will stop this nonsense and the pedal will become stable again. I have inspected for fluid leaks, and there are none....no loss of brake fluid. I was told a caliper or piston could be siezed up causing the problem. Also, the car sat for almost 2 years waiting on engine repair..if that helps. thanks Craig HONDA_99 06-08-2004, 07:29 PM master cylinder developed internal leak. cglenn2a 06-08-2004, 09:23 PM if it gets worse....I will replace master cylinder. Do you have any idea what they go for OEM? I do not want an aftermarket turd. Thanks for help.
