I'm having trouble locating the turn signal flasher on a 2000 Chevy Venture. Quit all together no clicking or signals, fuse is good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question for you. Was the flasher controller a black rectangular box with three or four wires coming out of it? If so, I have located the flasher as well, but my question is how do you unhook it or detach it from the wire harness?
When I use my turn signals the front and back bulbs do not blink, but the side ones do. Plus it blinks very fast. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!! vmax442

Yes it's a black rectangular relay located under the hood just above and behind the brake booster. It is secured to the connector with a plastic clip, which has to be released with a long screwdriver or similar tool while pulling on the relay. You almost need three hands but there is very little room. If GM would have spent another 2 cents on wire they could have made it a lot more accessible. Good Luck!

I had the exact same problem with a print out from Chevy! If you look under the hood in line with the steering column just to the upper drivers side of the brake booster at the far back where the back wall meets the upper panel, it's either hanging from the wire loom or cliped to it. It is black and rectangular about 1.25 inch x 2 inch relay with 3 wires and a real bear to get to. In my search with the GM picture I had the complete left side the dash and center section apart before looking under the hood!

Frustration continues.......looked as you directed for an hour last night and still not finding it. I see two wire harnesses above the brake booster. Both terminate and not at the flasher. Any more suggestions. Thanks.
