I just bought this car, and I'm having a few problems with it. My speedometer seems to go to "0" sometimes while I'm driving my car. My ac doesn't work, and neither does my windshield washer sprayer. They could all be seperate issues, but I was wondering if anyone has had all of those things go out at once, and what the problem was.
I'm new to the Honda cars.
I appreciate any help that anyone could give me.
Thanks,

well most likley with the ac is it needs to be recharged. not usre on your laws in your state, your ac system now runs off r12, unfortunitly most states and provinces you cant use r12 anymore, you gotta use r134a. so that means you gotta retrofit it.
washer could be only a few things, check there is fluid obviously, then make sure all the hoses are connected. find the motor see if you got any power going into it when you push the button. if there is, most likely you will need a new washer motor. not totally uncommen.
for your speedo i would check to see if your speed sensor is hooked up(its right on top of the trans), pulled it off and make sure there is no corrosion or loose connections.

On my repair manual it says 94+ use R134. I looked at my friends EX along time ago and under the hood there is a sticker that says what kind of freon and how much to use. Thats the best way to be sure but I know this for a fact.

I appreciate the detailed responses. I will check each item seperately, just like what was recommended.
Thanks a bunch,

I just wanted to update everyone on the speedometer, just in case any one else ever has the same problem. I tested the vss(vehicle speed sensor), and it was good. I haven't replaced the speedometer head yet. I think that it's more wiring. there is a little black box, right by the fuse box, that looks like it's out of place. every time I touch that box, it fixes the problem. either it doesn't have good ground or power, or it's simply not good any more. I'm not sure what this is, but I think that it's the power regulator for the speedometer(I read this on another forum from honda).
Thanks for the help everyone,
Jason
