I want to make some kind of shield to ward off engine heat from my short ram but can't find any info on a diy.. Should I use sheet metal? Does Home Depot carry strips of it? I want to make this clean looking and effective, not some ghetto shit.

They carry what (i think) you're looking for. It comes in 24" x 36" strips, and run about $6 a sheet.

Hmmm, that and some metal screws will be about $10 so if it ends up looking like crap that's not a big loss to scrap it all..

lol..... I'm looking for a DIY also. Its alot of fun working on your own car and creating your own things on it. Not only that, but you feel so proud of yourself when you're done. Right?

I'm guessing someone removed my butt pic? :( Is that not allowed here on the forums? How come my choking ladies are allowed?

Same thing happened to me. Some Mod named Moppie removed mine, saying it was against regulations. So i just put it back up and told him to show me where it's against these regulations. It's funny, you can put half-naked ladies on here and it's ok, but if they should start moving or squeeze their fully clothed boobs it's a no-no.

I wouldn't argue with Moppie, him and Jay run the place..

been too busy with other projects. and i'm planning on swapping in a y8 intake mani, so i'll need a new intake. i'll be getting a j's racing style intake.. big fat beeep looking one. maybe i'll make the shield for that intake.

It just doesn't make sense to me, ya know? What's the difference if the girls are half-naked and still, as opposed to fully clothed and moving slightly. Just seems silly to me. Not to mention only one mod seems to have a problem.
So Ricochet, how did the heat shield turn out?
