The power steering fluid is black after 105K and I figure I should replace it. How does one drain the old out and are there any gotchas I need to know about?

Suck it out of the reservoir, top off, run engine and move steering wheel lock to lock. Repeat a few times and your done. This is really overlooked maintanance that should be done.
