Are these all around good cars?nwindham85 06-01-2004, 11:04 PM Hey guys. I'm new to this forum, I'm normally hang around the S10 forum. Anyway, I'm in the Navy, and currently have a low mileage 1995 model v6 s10. It's tricked out so I dont wanna drive it except for weekends and stuff. I'm looking for a good car that I can use as a daily driver. I'm not too worried about speed, just an all around good car with a manual transmission and good gas mileage. Is the Spec V a good choice? Thanks, Nick. fry_ed 06-02-2004, 06:13 AM if you're not worried about performance at all, then i wouldn't recommend a spec-V. because of the tuned suspension, the spec-V's ride is extremely harsh over rough surfaces. maybe a 5-speed altima would be better? fugiot 06-02-2004, 06:34 AM Good gas mileage? Go for a 2000-2001 model Sentra SE 2.0, Infiniti G20 or maybe a Civic Si. All those cars get good gas mileage, can be bought in manual, and have adequate muscle that's there when you need it. The Spec V isn't the greatest with gas. BeigeMaxima 06-02-2004, 12:01 PM [QUOTE=nwindham85]Hey guys. I'm new to this forum, I'm normally hang around the S10 forum. And yes, although a proud owner of a spec, the ride is EXTREMELY harsh over rough surfaces. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
