Civic DX hatchback.... 1996..Integra14 06-01-2004, 02:58 PM im wondering what types of mods i would need to run a respectivly fast quarter mile time... After Intake, exhaust (catback), Headers= What do u think i could run with stripped interior what other mods could i do, Turbo, Nitrous, Supercharger ??? Which woule be the cheapest, fastest install, and most increase also a engine swap would be the next thing on my mind, but the civic has only 9K miles, so I dont know if it would be a good idea? also: should i go with h22? b16? or waht I want to get into the low 14's ... Possilbe? kicker1_solo 06-01-2004, 05:57 PM I think somebody needs to search :D but anyways, B18b, fully built, and then turbo it. That would be the most effective in my humble opinion. Then you could easily sell your low mileage stock motor. But you also mentioned the cheapest, nitrous would be cheaper than the turbo.... Ricochet 06-01-2004, 06:51 PM Turbocharge that DX for a few grand and you'll be in the mid/low 14's.. Don't swap out a 9k mile engine (even if it's slow) unless you have tons of money to spend. D[X]P 06-01-2004, 07:23 PM where did you get a 9k motor? kicker1_solo 06-02-2004, 02:25 AM sageuvagony 06-02-2004, 02:37 AM that is funny as hell but true also. Same repeated questions over and over and over. At first people who would complained about repeated questions would bother me but now I feel the same way.. too many repeated questions.... *sighs* Integra14 06-02-2004, 07:56 PM ya.. the dx is still for sale it has 2 rust spots of the wheel wells... and rusty hubs....... um... in Rochester NY.... 4500$ obo dx's dont even have tachometers... dang! CivicSpoon 06-02-2004, 08:25 PM Possibly used as a winter car? NY sucks in the winter with all the freaking salt they use on the road, drove my car for the first time in a NY winter and the tiny rust line I had turned into a much larger spot. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
