Mine are so fogged up I cant polish it out and it is dimming my lighting. hernandez3674 05-31-2004, 05:04 PM I got a new set on www.ebay.com for $175 . do a quick search and you'll find allot slantsixness 06-02-2004, 09:35 AM here's a really cheap way to fix this. take 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper, Wet sand the headlights. Clean with alcohol Spray them with polyurethane clear spray paint. It'll last a couple of years before you have to do it over again. It doesn't look terrible, but not shiny and new, but at least you can SEE again! Slantsixness pasquot 06-14-2004, 05:06 PM Im interested in trying the cheap fix for my van. I found the 800 grit paper and alochol but i went to 3 auto stores and cannot find poliurithane clear coat paint. The best if found was clear acrilic. Does it make a difference? Where do you get the proper clear spray? slantsixness 06-15-2004, 08:21 AM acrylic will work, just as well. You can get polyurethane spraypaint or just a regular quart at any hardware store (not normally in auto parts stores). Slantsixness GFresh 06-16-2004, 12:33 AM I got a quote from a dealer for my '96, and they said they'd have to replace the whole assembly for CAD$400. Of course, that's only about $1.50 U.S. nowadays (hahaha). I'm gonna go aftermarket and maybe get some smoked or tinted lenses instead. lakeman 06-16-2004, 05:45 AM Take a look here: http://1001headlights.com/. cj99 06-17-2004, 06:12 PM hernandez3674 06-17-2004, 06:34 PM Take a look here: http://1001headlights.com/. Dont bother with that kit. I bought that before i replace my headlamps. All it is is a cleaning solution and 2000grit compound . Not much help.
