Tigerscorpion 06-09-2004, 05:24 PM unorthodox racing pulley, cat-back exhaust, hotshot header (4 cyl), nismo/hotshot/aem cai, apexi safc II corolla99 06-09-2004, 09:18 PM apexi safc II ' where can you get that off of? what site Tigerscorpion 06-10-2004, 07:07 AM morepowerracing.com, but this has to be dyno tuned to be useful. corolla99 06-10-2004, 06:58 PM morepowerracing.com, but this has to be dyno tuned to be useful. pretty good site but they dont really tell you what some of the stuff is compatible with (vehicles) Tigerscorpion 06-11-2004, 12:08 PM it's universal ...explanation here http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85263&highlight=safcII daveshapellSVT 06-14-2004, 03:37 AM i read that the stock exhaust manifold is real bad and getting a header does a lot... theres not many mods out there for them.. i would just get whats out there and then get into nitrous.. i would think that there would be a super charger or turbo kit out for it, but from what i heard they are limited in the way of mods.. CorNut 06-14-2004, 11:45 AM man.... please, do not buy a flywheel... that is dumb IMO.... if you do CAI and header... do exhaust or else the SpecV will sound like 1,000 wasps... trust me I know from experience... Mods I am most happy with are CAI, Header, Exhaust, and Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts... on www.thevboard.com you can get a header for around $160 shipped http://forums.thevboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=34148 www.hpautoworks.com sells the motor mount inserts for like $45, you can buy a CAI on ebay for under $100, and a cat-back exhaust from ebay for $250... grand total of just over $550.. which leaves you with another $450ish to spend.. hummm, that means if you were willing to spend a total of $1,080 you can get JWT camps from hpautoworks... but if u want to buy more little things... let me dig back into my bag... you can buy an underdrive crank pulley for $120 from http://forums.thevboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=32661 that leaves you with just over $300 to spend... you can buy an eibach pro kit for $200 shipped here http://forums.thevboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=30427 still have $150 to spend... hmm, awh hell, tint your windows with it or somethin ;) btw... do not listen to these other ppl... I have a SpecV and I have all of those mods plus a whole lot more.... including nitrous, and nitrous is NOT the best mod... I/H/E combo was the best.. it gives you better gas mileage and a good amount of power always... no button to push, plus it sounds mean ;) check out www.shiftva.com/cornutspecv.html <-- my car btw... any SpecV owners... you will get a LOT more info on www.thevboard.com seriously... go register there, you will not regret it fugiot 06-15-2004, 03:10 AM man.... please, do not buy a flywheel... that is dumb IMO.... Upgrading to a lightweight flywheel will have a much bigger impact on acceleration than an intake, headers and exhaust combined. daveshapellSVT 06-17-2004, 05:53 PM upgrade everything.. thats the point isn't it? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
