Has anyone experienced their power windows moving slow (in both directions)?

What needs to be done to speed the window up, to comparable to a new car with power windows?

haha that's a strange question but one night before i shut off my car i remebered your post. my car was at operating temperature and only had teh lights and cd player on. up took about 3 and 1/2 to 4 seconds to go up, down took about 3 (faster that way b/c of gravity :icon16: ) if they aren't going up that fast just lightly press the accelerator to about 1200 or 1500 rpm to spin up the alternator to get more power. hope that helps

Well the 5 seconds mark is ok. If they are slower than that you can lube the internal mechanism. If after this procedure they are still slow then you should replace the motor

The window could be binding in the run channel it sits in also, perhaps shoot a little silicon spray along the window track, that might help a bit.

Pretty common problem. Remove the door panel and clean the tracks the window slides in. Re-lube with lithium grease. Should help without spending much money.
