I (or should I we) have finally fixed my problem. Took the radiator to a repair shop today. After 30 seconds he told me it was blocked bad. Left it there and went home. 4 hours later he calls and tells me it is done. Wow. Put it on and no more overheating. He said 30 out of 36 tubes were plugged. Next time I will try what ever you guys say or at least start with the easiest first. I honestly did not think it was plugged. I would like to thank you for your help it was appreciated and a great help

You what is really cool is when I go to put gas in it and have to squeeze to get 14 dollars in it and my friends with their monster pickups put 40 in. I am so glad to have it fixed with the price of gas. I also have a new pickup that gets a fantastic 16 mpg. I don't drive it much unless I have to. I use it on the farm. Now a tankfull in that will last about a month.
