HSV..................boat?Judge 01-19-2002, 09:38 PM no, they didnt just turn the commodore upside to see if it floats. :silly: its and actual HSV boat built by Malibu boats (http://www.malibuboats.com/) :) http://www.hsv.com.au/images/boatimages/3th.jpg these wheels first came out on the HSV Response R8 (http://www.hsv.com.au/main.html) trailer, i think theyre now on the new Monaro GTO (http://www.hsv.com.au/cars/vx2/coupe/gto/alt/large/hero.jpg) . http://www.hsv.com.au/images/boatimages/5th.jpg it also comes with a HSV enhanced LS1 engine producing approximately 275 kW  http://www.hsv.com.au/images/boatimages/9.jpg HSV General Manager Chris Payne commented: "Malibu and HSV have been teamed on the project for about 6 months and it is a concept that we have been wanting to have some fun with for a while. Yes, the boat is a trial exercise and after testing reaction as part of a HSV lifestyle display at the Sydney Motor show it will be interesting to see if we get orders for the HSV version of the Response. But we think it is a perfect fit. Traditionally HSV owners are very much into outdoor activities; we know that as well as their obvious affection for motorsport, water sports and family activities feature prominently in their leisure activities. Orders may be taken by Malibu for the HSV - Response R8, but whether we actually go ahead with the production of any in a limited run or whatever will depend on the public reaction. If we get orders for 20 at the Motor Show then we will talk with Malibu and decide our long-term strategy - if people are blown away by the idea then we may just build 20 and individually number them to order." The boat is the water equivalent of the ClubSport - hence its name. Judge 01-25-2002, 04:05 AM aaawww come on. you know how long it took me to get all the links working, and i even had a witty comment at the staRt come on people, a witty comment!! i think this is my first useful/interesting post and no one replys. Downunder 02-24-2002, 10:13 AM That is a shame:finger: ;) taranaki 03-05-2002, 01:52 AM Just saw this when I called up your profile to PMyou....WhereTF do you find this stuff:D ?betcha can't find me an xr8 yacht!:finger: Downunder 03-05-2002, 02:48 AM An Xr8 yacht would be too heavy too move and doesn't have enough power:p :silly2: Setanta 03-12-2002, 06:52 AM Originally posted by Judge aaawww come on. you know how long it took me to get all the links working, and i even had a witty comment at the staRt come on people, a witty comment!! i think this is my first useful/interesting post and no one replys. hahaha - you post in a forum with minimum threads and expect a response??? :D Judge 08-30-2002, 06:29 AM Originally posted by Setanta hahaha - you post in a forum with minimum threads and expect a response??? :D but.it.has.a.witty.comment.about.the.holden.being. a.boat!
