I was wondering if they have a timing belt or chain?My mom took her car to the dealer and they said they replaced the timing belt.Well she just took it in today to do the same and they said that it doesnt have a timing belt or chain.But the funny thing is too is the same place told her before that she didnt have spark plugs but today they said she does but i no she has those.lol

Corollas built from 1998 on have timing chains and a serpentine belt, which drives your alternator, water pump, and a/c IIRC.
