spray painting my wipersjazer80 05-27-2004, 05:32 PM okay not the replacable blade part, but the part that is part of the car. 1) how do i remove those to paint them, and 2) what kind of spray?clear coat too? it is metal underneath (see pic) jazer80 05-27-2004, 05:33 PM well i couldn't get the pics to upload. but it's metal coated with almost a black matte. if anyone can tell me how to upload pics i have very detailed ones that might help Beastiek2 05-27-2004, 06:42 PM just did that on a 97 eclipse i removed the wiper blade covered the car so paint wont get on it and just sanded the metal a bit and sprayed it down with black paint i got from the local paint store PPG like 10 bucks - you wouldnt need to remove the whole blade just tape off the area and spray.. the paint will dry within 5 min 96Civic_Coupe 05-27-2004, 07:27 PM did u use spray paint ??? But it only takes like 5 minutes. snowman2005 05-27-2004, 07:30 PM yea just regular black paint or w/e color. flat colors look better. if u wanan take them off open the hood take off the bolt close the hood pop the wiper plades up and pul them out BlaZeNSmoKe 05-27-2004, 11:36 PM Ok I'm having that same problem is, I popped my hood and I see the bolts that connect to the wipers, but with all my tools I still can't get them bitches off.
