Oxygen Sensor Locationmplieb 05-27-2004, 04:21 PM I get an OBDII code of P0133 = O2 Sensor CKT Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Can someone tell me where this is located? Thanks. 94SHO 05-28-2004, 09:53 AM The O2 sensor is located in the exhaust pipes usually before the catalitic converters. They screw into the exhaust pipe and have a wire connected to them running to the engine. I dont know which is Bank 1 in the regular taurus, you would have to ask a dealer. The 3 cylinders in the front are a 'bank' and the three cylinders in the back are a 'bank'. I would think that there would be a sensor for each bank since it is specifing the bank. mplieb 05-28-2004, 10:57 AM Thanks for your quick response. You basically confirmed what I have read, and wanted to be sure - I think bank 1 is associated with cylinder 1. Regards. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
