unhook the advance wire and get the trusty ol timin light and loosen up the hold down clamp on ur distributor and then just aim the timin light to ur TDC marks on ur timin chain cover and adjust it to whereever u want it

no the crank pulley, there is a line on it, paint it a bright color, then there should be a thing on ur timin cover that has notches in it, u go by that

yeah....but make sure u ahve the timin light on it so u dont adjust it too far cuz it dotn take much, and the advance wire unhooked cuz if u retime it with the advance wire hooked up it wont run for shit and it will set off trouble codes

its a spark advance wire....ur computer advances or retards the spark timing based on engine load and stuff like that it should be a tan wire with a white tracer up under the dash on the passenger side....just un hook it and time.....and do u have a timin light
