Trying to remove the transmission from my 95 s10, but tabs for mounting bolts keep hitting body by gas pedal. I'm sure there is an easy way to get this out, but I'm too stupid to figure it out. Can anyone give me a pointer?

jack up the front of the engine a little bit so it angles everything down
