Looks like a very nice car. I know this sounds like a stupid question but is that carlsbad,california?. You never know cause the name of my town is also in texas so i was just wondering. If he is willing to take it out to pomona,california and i can find a trailer,truck and catchcan i might be able to. I have a video of a turbocharged Sentra, similar to mine, beating a 450RWHP '03 Cobra from a roll. I'm proud the Sentra won, and I'll use that vid to challenge anybody that questions the potential of the SR20 Sentras, but I sure as hell ain't playing internet cheerleader, challenging people online for some dude who I happened to see race online.

That Sunfire isn't a Cavalier, like yours, and you don't even know if he's running an Ecotec motor, so you even have less "claim" to comradery with that car, than me and another Sentra, with basically the same motor with a turbo.

Yesterday, I was IMed by the guy who started this post asking me if it would be okay with me to post videos of my race on another forum. I said sure, no problem at all just dont cause any problems. I never once said ito put up a subject like that nor to leave a open challange to others. In a way "calling" people out for a race just because I have a car that runs a litlte fast.

I have never bragged about my car nor will I start doing so today. Its pointless. I dont race my car to show others up I do it for my own good to see how far I can get with a car / engine.

I do apologies for a post like this because all it does is make "me" look like a jack@ss for no reason. I guess misunderstanding stuff can lead to stuff like this but nothing can be done about it now.... its done and over with.... if it offended anyone then again I am sorry.

Now for the car....

The car is running a 75 shot of nitrous on a built engine. The engine was NOT built to be a pure race car engine. It was built to be a daily driver. Hence why the compression is not as high as it could have been or why we are not using a stand alone computer or even fuel cell, so on and so on. During the middle of the build up after the engine was done I said I will just make it a race car..... by that time it was late to change the engine around so I just kept it the way it was and see what I could do with the car.

In the first video I missed 4th gear about 4 times . . . not sure what went wrong but I guess something did. As for the other runs I dont think the shifting was slow at all. I know my RTs were VERY slow that night but that was just my error no excuses at all.

I know you can invest 3000$ in a honda and make it go as fast if not faster. The point is I dont own a honda. Honda has had aftermarket parts for it for MUCH longer then a Cavalier or a Sunfire. Many parts on this car were custom made because no one makes the parts nor has put the time or effort to make parts like that. People think of a Cavalier/Sunfire and think its a POS car. To each there own. I just like working on them. I am sure with the correct amount of time or money you can make any car fast. Some faster then others, and some slower then others.

Anywho, I am not here to preach about cars. I am just here to say that this post was never meant to come out the way it did.
