I put in a fuel intake cleaner into the gasoline tank filled it up and so far the problem has not returned. I posted the problem under 92 + Civic in this AF forum and one replied that it did that when his oxygen sensor shorted. crabby760 06-08-2004, 03:44 PM i replaced the iac valve... my car still does t his crap... when i turn it on in the morning it revs like 2300 rpms.. then when it warms up it still stays at 1800 to 2000 it wont go lower... i rev it and it drops to 1,000 then split second later it bounces back up and idles at 1800 to 2000... i have no idea whats wrong but its ANNOYING and can't be good for the engine mechy1barry 06-08-2004, 04:50 PM have you tried the engine temp sensor? lots of probs with these.when they go wrong the computor senses cold all the time,hence high revs. crabby760 06-08-2004, 05:37 PM no where is this engine temp sensor.. and i'll replace it... jimmybvilla 06-09-2004, 10:38 AM Check out the Discussion forum for 92+ Civic. Look under The Honda Performance, Section 3 Intakes, IACV Problem.
