Actually, from the research I've done, 22B owners from the UK state that their cars dyno at almost exactly 276 or 280 hp (or ps?) or whatever the "limit" is supposed to be... The difference is that the 22B has such a HUGE torque curve that's big and flat like a kitchen table so the power is available all over the powerband.

It's people that are used to driving the turbo 2.0 that claim it to be "underrated," because it has SO MUCH more useable torque than the usual WRX motors.
