Have fun with this one turbo2nr 05-21-2004, 11:06 PM i belive this was done but what the hell! car # 1 i want to desing my own car for starters from scratch.. the body, chassie, sus. components.ect and of course it has to be turbo car # 2 would be a 72 datsun 240sx with a nissan v-8 full buil for turbo with two t-78 .72a/r and a wid body.. car # 3 r-34 gtr modded to 800hp single turbo.. car # 4 audi rs8 (rs6 cant rember the name now) modded to 600hp (the family car) haha 1 Amish_kid 05-21-2004, 11:24 PM 1jz swapped mk3 supra. True twins not that sequential bs. Ha although I'd probably opt for a nice big fat single and some other nic nacs and have 'er running at abour 600rwhp :naughty: caleb56 05-21-2004, 11:27 PM What i got now with a 383 procharged and sledgehammer suspension. Hell why not just gimme a 1988 sledgehammer callaway corvette. 65Fstbk 05-21-2004, 11:46 PM I'll be boring and say the new Ford GT. I want I want. :( YogsVR4 05-22-2004, 12:54 AM I'd get a Spyder VR4.....wait, I already did that. NSX is next on the hit list. Vanquish someday. losingxposer 05-22-2004, 01:23 AM i want a yugo. :) youngvr4 05-22-2004, 01:48 AM i want a 99 vr4 running 11.8 with only 50thousand mile on it :) and i'll be done fatninja19 05-22-2004, 04:22 AM Damn.. this one is too hard.. but I go in and out of A LOT of phases.. as Redneck would know... haha... So I'll just list my current phase: =Datsun 510 with a s14 sr20det... that little t28 will do, the datsuns already so light with such a small tire. In addition, I'd like a nice and neat little interior along with all the Bluebird exterior pieces. And I want her in Championship White please. =A sleeper freaking HONDA Civic like Cheese Frog.. except in a 4 door eg painted flat black. I'd want the interior in tact too... and messy. This would be my daily driver. =Earlier Mazda Miata hardtop... white or black.. whatev. But slightly built motor and turbo'ed. Oh ya.. and a little roll bar... I don't trust that seemingly fragile hard-top. :icon16: christophv 05-22-2004, 09:38 AM I'd have a dodge challenger with custom paint/vinyls (red n white) and a swapped 8.4l bb in it or so. Maybe I'd try to swap the viper V10 into it :D wow that would be a hell of a ride.. as a daily driver, I'd like to have a sleeper fiat cinquecento with a sr20-det or sth in it :D plus, I'd like to have my benz all built up and clean and new. cu Polygon 05-22-2004, 01:24 PM Shit, I'd take a Viper Oreca GTS-R. I like the Challenger idea, but I'd drop in a 528 Hemi and twin turbocharge it. Then I'd completely work over the suspension and do some work to lighten it. flylwsi 05-22-2004, 01:27 PM the viper motor in old mopar cars has been done before... i'm a big noble m12 gto 3r fan... i reallllly like those cars (and the guys that import them are in ohio... hmm...) i'd like a silvia as well ( a real one ) b/c i love the front end of those things Cbass 05-22-2004, 04:02 PM Well, there's always a Porsche 914 that's been lightened to around 1500lbs, with a mildly tuned 993 3.6 liter engine with variable valve timing tuned for about 360hp, custom fabricated double wishbone suspension all around with pushrod coilovers all around, "Big Red" brakes from the 993 Turbo, and a roll cage that is tied in to front and rear tubular subframes that connect the strut towers. Oh, and ungodly large tires, 275/30/17s on the front, 335/30/17s on the back. And it goes a little somethin like this :iceslolan http://www.ultimate914.com/MOTORSPORTS_WE/photo_8/IMAG0000.JPG http://www.ultimate914.com/MOTORSPORTS_WE/photo_7/IMAG0000.JPG That and a '32 Ford 3 window coupe body in fiberglass, riding on a custom tube frame, with tubular aluminum Mustang II front suspension, Jaguar style independent rear suspension, Ford 4.6 DOHC Cobra motor, tuned for around 360hp at higher engine speeds, Tremec 6 speed transmission. Target weight, 2200lbs, low 11s with traction being the limiting factor. Yes, I'm nuts. Yes, I'll have built both of these cars within the next ten years. Mediocrity 05-22-2004, 04:06 PM my cruiser: (thanks to Vince for the inspiration on this one) a 1995 GS-T spyder, but I want to take the driveline out of the 1995 GSX and put it in the gst, so in essence I have a convertible GSX (gst spyders have same mounting points as gsx) lowered with a deep ocean blue paint job and the supra wing. my fun fun car: 1992 R32 GT-R, gloss black, bronze nismo wheels, all nismo'd out with a lhd conversion. landyacht 05-22-2004, 06:45 PM Take an '03 Crown Vic (loaded but a cloth interior), drop in a Marauder engine, put the Marauder's dash / guages / console in it. Put on a giant intercooler, new intake and exhaust, and a great big supercharger. Then find a manual tranny that will work with the whole set-up. What can i say? I like the big sedans, and i've always wanted a sleeper sedan with a manual tranny! Imagine this thing beating a Camaro SS in the 1/4 mile. LOL, that'd be great! But use an '04 F150 XL...it would add a real sleeper look to the whole set-up. SpaceManSpiff 05-23-2004, 11:19 PM Hmmm... since most people are doing oddball cars, I'll go with some too. eg civic hatch with a turbo nsx motor... can we say sleeper? rb26dett powered 240sx... or 240z... or I'll just take the skyline. 2jz powered hachi-roku (is this even possible? has it ever been done?) That's exactly what I was going to say except with the sr20v et from the x trail. Even more then that I want a G35 with a powdercoated black screwtype supercharger sticking out the hood And for my supercar it would be a dark blue ferrari stradale :boink: flylwsi 05-24-2004, 03:22 PM not sure how an f150 would be anymore sleeper than a silverado with a s/c'd zo6 engine? hmm... Daily commuter car: Delorean, with the engine and tranny from a Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo V8...year '01 i just happen to really like. Add a huge intercooler and a few adjustments to make it all work together for daily driving. Just for something different outside the office building! For the cabin/travelling: '04 F350 crew cab short box single rear wheel King Ranch Lariat Diesel with FX4. Add on this 6 stage turbo/tuning/exhaust kit i saw on 'Trucks' for the Powerstroke with the automatic tranny. I think that would make a good fleet! I'll throw in a Cadillac Escalade EXT with 22 inch rims for cruisin for women! :ylsuper: 3KSL95 05-25-2004, 02:50 PM how about a 99 vr4, thats my dream car. The F150 XL just looks alot more like a tonka truck...it's a real bare bones looking ride; so i figure it'll be just that much more fun to make it the sleeper. (as real as a world for 1/2 million dollar cars is) either could easily top those speeds... or at least get right up there for 1/2 the price youngvr4 05-27-2004, 05:27 PM i agree, i think its just a die hard mcalren fan, such as those of the skyline kids chevytrucks92 05-27-2004, 05:38 PM i'm still stuck on how a stock looking ANY truck would not look sleeper, or how the big tonka would look more sleeper... i'm down for a turbo diesel dually that runs 11's... Corvair Grand Sport: Okay, first things first I'd need a 1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Coupe. Preferably a moderately ratty one so that I don't mind cutting it up. And there's going to be a lot of cutting on this project. Key components are a Gaerte 410ci aluminum block with Dominion's OHV 4 valve heads, Lunati reciprocating assembly, custom Husler headers, custom ground cam, and Inglese quad sidedraft Weber DCOE intake setup, a Hewland 5speed transaxle with integrated custom unequal length A-arm suspension complete with Penske coil-overs and massive Wilwood six-pot brakes at ALL FREAKING CORNERS. I'd cut the rear clip off at the leading edge of the C-pillar diagonally down to the the edge of the wheel well and then recreated the whole unit as one seamless fiberglass piece hinged GT-40 style that'd reveal the stellar custom MR drivetrain. The wheel wells would be gently flared (classic SCCA Trans-Am style) and radiused to accomadate deep dish 18inch Workmeisters wrapped with nothing but the finest Hoosiers. The interior would be trimmed in tan Alcantara, and the body would be painted in deep Pearl White with Candy Blue contour pinstriping. The engine combo, which I'd have built by Chevy small block maestro Marcus Malcuit of Malcuit Racing Engines (alumni of ASA, ARCA, and Main Event late model racing), would be good for a streetable and naturally aspirated (power adders are for men with performance problems) 600+ horsepower. I could get the weight of the Corvair down to around 2500lbs with a combination of fiberglass and acid dipping, and with Jimmy Bodnar and Justin Belfiore as the chassis men the thing could pull radical g's on the skidpad. It'd be incredibly wild to run around in, plus I'd try to get it voted into the Sport Compact Car magazine Ultimate Street Car Challenge in order to prove that a bunch of oval track guys could build a classic with vintage parts that'd stomp around on modern Supras, Skylines, and RX-7's. tomvolksandford 06-01-2004, 07:36 PM dude i'd want a newer skyline lambergine vertical doors supercharged nice sounding exhast custom blue paint shaved handles with hidden button under the custom body kit 2 15" xplode subs 4 6x9 xplode speaker 1500 watt amp. plus all other sound goodies dvd in glovebox and back of seats oh ya with a hula girl on the dash this is tom you heard me!! 97Tsi 06-01-2004, 08:29 PM I was reading a magazine not too long ago and they featured a place you could send an AWD Volkswagen GTI (think they're called R32's) to in Canada and for a chunk of change they'll mod the hell out of it for you.
