Is is possible for an Automatic Transmission to be shifted out of Park when the car (1994 Pontiac Grand Prix) is turned off and the key taken out of the ignition?
Has anyone heard of this kind of problem?
Thanks for any leads

you should have a button on the right slde of your shifter for that for towing reasons so they dont drag your tires in park some of them do

There's a shift lock release button, yes. But if yours is doing this without pressing the shift lock release, you have a problem. Take it to a mechanic and have it checked out.
