Edit your profileSchludwiller 05-10-2001, 06:40 PM Ok, this came up in an e-mail and I thought others might want to know about it too. If you want to change how many threads are shown in each page go to: Profile (grey button up top of window) Edit Options There near the bottom of the options is: Default Thread View (use this to select how old the threads are that you want displayed). and Default posts per Thread (here you can select how many theads are loaded per page). If by some chance these are only available to me as a Moderator (I'm new to this board too ;) ) please let me know, and I'll check the lengths in the forums. Otherwise customize away! gothamist 05-10-2001, 06:48 PM Okay that was me...didn't realize that stuff like that was user-customizible. (It worked fine Schlud.) :) Schludwiller 05-10-2001, 09:26 PM After 100 posts you can have a custom avatar posted with your sigs. Which I just crossed over today! Be considerate of the modem members and keep the file size small. Overt posting just to get post counts up is strongly discouraged on this message board. xterrabull 05-16-2001, 03:20 PM Arghhhh! I can't turn off the damn email notify of someone posting on a thread I've posted under. I left it "on" (default setting) when I registered then tried turning it off monday & yesterday & I'm still getting the email notifications. It's not so bad now, but when the board populace expands it'll get ridiculous. Schludwiller 05-16-2001, 04:10 PM Originally posted by xterrabull Arghhhh! Let me know if it does or doesn't work. xterrabull 05-16-2001, 04:32 PM Ahhh, I get it now. I was subscribed to 2 threads that I posted on BEFORE I changed the email setting; after changing the setting, I was still subscribed to those two threads but was not subscribing to any new threads I posted on. It's clear to me now in hindsight (as usual, unfortunately!). Thanks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
