I've heard Malibu owners talk about a rattle sound from the tires when going over bumps or uneven concrete. My 2003 Malibu now has that same problem. I'm still covered by the bumber to bumber warranty, so please give me suggestions as to what is causing this problem. I want to make sure the dealer doesn't say they couldn't find anything wrong with it or couldn't duplicate problem.

Not sure if this will help you with an '03, but it might help those owning '97-'99s with aluminum wheels. The center caps have a habit of losing their retaining clips, which then rattle around the inside of the cap.

Mine were replaced free, under what the dealer called "owner satisfaction".
