Drop in Rpm's when shift to NeutraliBMW69 05-19-2004, 10:40 PM Hey whats goin on everyone, I have a 1997 nissan altima GLE manual shift, whenever I am driving and about to stop at a light or even slow down I will throw it into neutral. When I do that the Rpm's will nose dive to below 500Rpm and will struggle to stay on. But when I completely stop they go back to normal and it will Idle just fine. Someone told me it could be a vacuum leak or a bad fuel injector, but I am not sure if there is anyone that has had a similar problem, please help. Thanx iBMW69 05-27-2004, 12:23 AM Man guess what the problem was, it was the freakin TPS sensor (Throttle positioning sensor). Its a simple fix but the part from Nissan is expensive it ran over 200 bucks. So in case anyone is having that problem check that. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
