Hi !

I have a Nissan Wingroad 2000 model (WFY11).

I did not get the remote key Fob from the seller (for some reason).
now I need to purchase a remote key Fob and program it to the car's existing central locking system.

1. Can I do this?
2. How to program the Key Fob?

Thanks In Advance !

programing a Nissan remote , is hidden secret by Nissan Dealers. As a Nissan Technician i will share it.

Just get in your vech , close all doors. Using your power lock switch , lock all doors. After doors are locked take your Ignition Key and insert it and remove it from ignition switch in a slow fashion , but consitant pace. (97 and earlyer are fast) When you see the hazzard lights flash, put key in ignition switch and turn to the On postion .. Do NOT CRANK or you will have to Start over .. After in the On postion .. Hit the Lock button on remote... Hazzard lights should flash..( note..you have to reprogram all remotes when adding a new one , if you don't your old remotes will not work ) If your doing just the one , turn igntion switch off and unlock door and get out and try it. If you are doing more than one. While still in Vech with Key on . After you hit the Lock button on Remote and hazzard light flashed .. with key still on .. use master lock switch unlock doors and relock and then hit Second Remote, Lights should flash again , repeat if adding a 3rd remote.. after done just turn key off and unlock door and get out and try. Good Luck :)

Keyless remote programing 2000 Pathfinder. Help!! My keyless remote stopped working, replaced battery, but it did not help. I tried reprograming for instructions I had gotten off of internet. Strange thing about doing this is as follows: After getting in vehicle, locking doors, inserting key in ignition (6) times, my hazard lights flash without hitting the remote button. I turn key to ACC position and try pushing button on remote. Still not working. Any advice would be great, the frustration is getting to me. I might go ballistic.

Any luck with this problem? I am having the exact same problem with my 2001 Maxima. Everything goes according to directions until I insert the key and turn to ACC and push the lock button on the remote to program it. I get no hazard flash indication for the successful programming of the remote.

Sorry there is no trick i can share when it comes to keys..If you want to program the Key, your going to have to take it to the dealer, The Scan tool has to be used to program that. Also bring "ALL" your keys , any key you don't bring will no longer work

Most locksmiths that do a lot of automotive work also have the equipment to program these keys. We used to have to purchase the dealer tools for this, but in the past 4 or 5 years, there have been a lot of advancements. Now there are several handheld tools on the market that will program keys to most of the vehicles on the road today.

Don't go to a dealer until you contacted a locksmith. I being a licensed locksmith hate to see you guys blow excessive amounts of dough without checking out your options. If you don't know of a local locksmith who can program your remotes or keys, email me brian@blakinc.com and I'll find one for you.

I just replaced the battery for my remote and I have tried the this programming procedure a few times for my 2001 QX4...I get through the in and out of the ignition and the hazards flash...However, nothing happens after I insert the key into the ignition and turn onto ACC or the ON position and then press a button on the remote...I believe the hazards are supposed to flash at that point...But they do not and the remote does not work to open the doors...Is there anything else i can try?....How would i know if it is the remote I have to replace?

Any ideas on how to programme a fob for Nissan Almera Tino? I've tried the following but it didn't work.

Unlock all doors, insert key into ignition, turn key from 0 to on 6 times within 10 seconds, waited 2 seconds for lights to flash, pressed lock button 3 times while holding onto unlock button...after that I've had no response.

Please let me know if you have a possible answer.

Thanks

I need to program my key remote for my 97 Maxima. The only problem is i had to change my ignition key due to a car theft. Is there a way to re program the remote even though i changed the ignition key? I followed the steps of locking the doors and then inserting the key into the ignition and removing it quickly 6 to 10 times but my hazards never flashed so i could not repeat the other steps.can anyone help me with my problem?

This worked on my 2000 maxima

IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, have in possession all of the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the transmitter, all previous codes will be erased from the memory. The other transmitters will not be functional until you program the transmitters again.
1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.

2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard
Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder
each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.

3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.

4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press
the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming
procedure will not be successful.

5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side
power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should
flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters).
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.

Hi Yannick, you can find instructions to program the remote for your Versa on the site http://programcarremotes.com

I think the link to your particular model is 2009 Nissan Versa (http://programcarremotes.com/2009-nissan-versa/)

Let me know if that works or not and I will try to dig up something else that works.
