anybody got a scanner and a haynes book for the firwall and heater corekrazykev101 05-18-2004, 10:21 PM :banghead: I could use some advice on where the hose, coming out the firewall is supposed to connect. Someone with the haynes book could send me a snapshot of what it looks like when connected to the correct corresponding area, because I have no Idea. Coolant is flowing out as fast as I put it in. I just bought the car today and it happened shortly after checking the heater and AC, About 20 miles from home. UrNotWutUOwn 06-04-2004, 05:43 AM It sounds like you have the same problem I just had w/ my '91 Corsica. If the hose you're talkin about is the small L shaped one coming out of the firewall, it is for the overflow for the heater core. I was stumped about what it was for also until someone in a chat room yesterday gave me some advice. I solved the problem for now by bypassing the heater core by connecting the 2 hoses nearby the overflow one. Just gotta remember to replace the heater core before winter! Hope this helps you out! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
