If Anyone Could Help Me Please...my Son Drove My Truck To Work And It Over Heated To The Point That The Plug Wires Caught On Fire On The Passenger Side. When I Got It Home And Put Water In It, It Came Out Of The Tail Pipe When I Tried To Start It. Massive Amounts! Do You Think It Could Be A Blown Head Gasket .....any Opinion Would Be Appreciated. When I Drained The Oil, About A Gallon Of Water Drained Before The Oil And The Radiator Smells Like Gas. I Cannot Afford A New Engine. What Do I Do First?

Water in oil means blown head gasket, or cracked head or block. See if you can see any water leaking from engine anywhere. If it got that hot & you put any water on or in it while still hot it might have cracked head or block. Replacing head gasket isn't that much expense or time if your mechanically knowledgable. Thats a easy place to start & you could have the head checked out while off if you wanted to.Good Luck

i would definatlly start with getting the heads checked for warpage if it is not leaking from block externally.you get em hot, they will warp and leak into exhaust and oil. you should see whee its leaking as soon as you remove head.
