my 93 chevy s-10 z series 4.3 262 efi engine
has lately not been starting at all yesterday while trying to leave from
my brothers house I couldnt have left if my life depended on it
the key was turned so much that I actually developed a blister on my thumb.finally after 36 minutes she turned over
believe it could be the iginition switch.
It all began when I was hit by a girl coming off the freeway while running a redlight back in 2002 My odometer and my speedodometer just quick working too..any advice folks??do ya think it might be my brain module malfunctioning? The speedodometer is a small black module located at the tranny which was replaced 9 months ago
Is there a diagram anyone can send me
my s-10 is in good condition by that I mean from 1 to 10 I give it a solid 6,no more ..no less.wanna fix her up to trade for a 67 or 68 camero

It is interesting the amazing things that these computerized freakin cars can do. I suggest that you may be right when you say "believe it could be ignition switch" That stupid thing can cause so many problems, similar to yours and completely different. I just had to replace mine after stalling out on the way to work, all dash lights and gauges all of a sudden non functional. Reading no codes, trying but nothing coming up, nothing, engine would crank but no spark, and no dash lights. Tear apart column, and put key in just playing around, all lights on, engine starts. It was a short in the ignition switch wiring. So replaced switch, all is great!!! Hope this helps, my switch only cost $40 at autozone, worth a try, it's just a pain to put in.

Hope this helps

before you replace your ignition switch..... try your starter relay. It is in the fuse box under your hood. My starter relay switch went bad and my truck wouldnt start, wouldnt even try to start. the radio, lights and everything worked but no start. It is in your fuse box and just pulls out. switch it with another fuse if this happens again and see if this helps..
