TransAm TutorialKustmAce 05-15-2004, 03:32 PM Just hosting it here for the Tutorial section. Oh ya: Thanks to Jeep Rubicon for this. Step 1: I basiclly just drew the outline/template. It was kinda scratchy at first but then I made crisp lines. In my opinion if your template/outline is good chances are the car will be good. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_1.jpg Step 2: I just drew the wheels in (The hardest part I think). Make sure your elipses are correct before you draw your rims/hubs in. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_2.jpg Step 3: I drew in all the details such as lights, door lines, air vents etc. You don't have to add much detail at this stage just an outline. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_3.jpg Step 4: I just drew the interior in, u can barely see it. Try to make your interior match the proportions of the car, mines aren't perfect. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_4.jpg Step 5 :I started the shading and defined the lines. I made my lines too dark, dont make them dark this was my mistake, if they are dark it makes the car look more cartoony than realistic. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_5.jpg Step 6: I did the rest of the shading, just need to smooth it out and i might make it a bit darker. After this step it's completed unless you want to smooth out the shading. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/1473781989_Pontiac_Trans_Am_-_Stage_6.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
